Sarit Centre (Lower Kabete Road, Westlands) – this is reputed to be Nairobi’s first shopping mall (opening in 1983). It’s currently a six-level shopping center with 70 mostly local & regional stores (along with a Woolworth’s), a Fox Cineplex, and other amenities.
Galleria Mall (Langata Road, Nairobi) – this shopping center has various local and regional retailers, along with a food court (including a KFC eatery), services (such as banks and cell phone providers), and children’s play areas. Like other malls, this one holds a variety of promotional events & concerts as well.
City Mall Nyali (near Guptas Complex, Nyali, Malindi Road, Mombasa) – once known as The Nyali Mall, this is Mombasa’s first modern shopping center. Over 62 retailers are located here (including some international ones like Woolworth’s, Converse, and Levi’s), along with various mall amenities (food courts, entertainment, etc.).
