Nairobi Gallery (Kenyatta Avenue & Uhuru Highway, Nairobi) – located in the heart of Nairobi, this museum hosts various temporary art exhibits. This was previously a government building that maintained birth, marriage and death records. Since 2013, the Nairobi Gallery has become the official home to the Murumbi African Heritage Collections – the outstanding private collection amassed by the late vice-president, Joseph Murumbi.
Admission: KES 1,000 (tourist adult), KES 150 (Kenyan adult), KES 500 (tourist child), KES 100 (Kenyan child). Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (daily).
